Prologue

For centuries, humans have been fascinated by the unseen. They whisper about the Jinn in darkened rooms, invoke their names in hushed tones, and weave fantastical tales about their powers. But what if a Jinn itself had a story to tell? What if, hidden in the folds of time, a Jinn had kept a secret diary? Today, we unveil the pages of that very diary—an unfiltered glimpse into the mind of a being who has walked unseen among men.

Entry 1: The Beginning

They say we were created from smokeless fire. I do not remember the moment of my birth, for I was flung into existence in a time when the stars were still young. The first thing I remember is heat—blazing, searing, eternal. Then came awareness. My brethren scattered like embers in a storm, each seeking their own destiny.

I, however, was different. I wanted to observe, to understand, to record. So I took up the habit of writing. Humans think they invented writing. How little they know.

Entry 17: The First Encounters

Humans have always been strange creatures. Some of them fear us, some of them revere us, and some, the foolish ones, seek to control us. I have seen kings fall because they relied on the whispers of my kind. I have seen empires rise because they ignored us altogether. But my favorite humans are the dreamers—the poets, the storytellers. They are the ones who sense our presence but do not cower.

I remember the Persian poet who once spoke to me unknowingly. He sat by a flickering oil lamp, quill in hand, and whispered, “If only I could see the world beyond.” So, I leaned in and whispered back, “Write, and you shall.” And he did.

Entry 34: The Bargains

Humans love making bargains with us. “Give me wealth,” they say. “Make me powerful.” They do not realize that true power lies in their choices, not in our gifts. I once encountered a man who wanted to live forever. He offered me his soul, his blood, his very name. I refused.

He called me a demon. I laughed.

Entry 52: The Unseen War

Few humans know of the war that rages between my kind. There are those who despise mankind and seek to corrupt them, and there are those like me—silent observers, watching, learning. The greatest battles do not take place in fields of blood but in whispered temptations, in unseen influences. Your history books will never mention the moments where a king hesitated before signing a war decree, or when a merchant resisted the urge to cheat his partner. But those are the real wars, and we are the real warriors.

Entry 89: The Fall of an Empire

I watched Rome burn. I watched Baghdad crumble. I have seen the great cities of men rise and fall, always wondering if they will learn from their mistakes. They never do.

But I still watch. Hope is an odd thing, even for a Jinn.

Entry 101: The Modern Age

Humans now walk with glowing rectangles in their hands, their faces illuminated by the eerie light of knowledge and ignorance combined. They no longer fear the dark, for they have filled it with distractions. And yet, despite all their advancements, they are lonelier than ever.

I sit atop skyscrapers now instead of dunes. I watch as they scroll through endless images, seeking something they cannot name. They have forgotten how to listen to the wind, how to feel the pulse of the earth.

I wonder, will they remember?

Final Entry: The Unfinished Story

This diary is not meant to be complete. I will continue to watch, to write, to wonder. Perhaps one day, a human will find these pages and truly understand. Perhaps they will realize that we are not so different after all.

Until then, I remain a silent observer, a keeper of forgotten stories, a Jinn with a pen.

Conclusion: The Legacy of the Jinn

As we close the pages of this extraordinary diary, we are left with a question—what if the Jinn are watching even now? Perhaps, as you read these words, a Jinn leans over your shoulder, smiling at your curiosity. If so, may it be one of the wise ones, the silent guardians of forgotten wisdom.

And if you ever find yourself alone in the quiet of the night, listen closely. You might just hear a whisper…

A Prayer for Friends, Family, and Followers

May Allah, the Most Merciful, shower my family, friends, and followers with His divine blessings. May He grant them wisdom, peace, and prosperity. May He protect them from harm, guide them to righteousness, and fill their hearts with contentment. May their lives be enriched with knowledge, their homes with love, and their souls with unwavering faith. May He grant them success in this world and the Hereafter. Ameen.
